GUIDE TO COMMUNICATIONS

Oral communications

Oral communications will last for 15 minutes, including time for questions. The Organising Committee recommends allocating 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions.

The oral communications will be performed in English. Participants will have the use of a video projector in the room to display the presentation and a computer with Windows operating system and Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 software. Communications will be provided to the organisation staff on a flash drive first thing in the morning of the day of the session or, at least, 1 hour prior to the start time.

The speaker is responsible for familiarising him or herself with the projection equipment and for checking that it works correctly prior to the presentation. Additionally, speakers should contact the presidents of their sessions at least 15 min before the session begins.

It is not permitted to use any other equipment in the room, unless strictly necessary. In this case, the speaker will be responsible for ensuring beforehand that the connection and screening from his or her own computer will take place without problems.

Poster

Posters shall be displayed during the two days when the sessions with posters are held, (20 and 21 July), regardless of which session they correspond to.

Posters will be written in English. The author must be present next to the poster during the corresponding session.

The size of each poster will be 0,84 m x 1,19 m (standard A0 size).

Boards will be numbered with labels at the top. The author presenting the poster shall fit it onto the corresponding board according to the number assigned in the Final Programme.
